It all comes down to a good story...

It is not a coincidence that "history" and "story" evolved from the same Ancient Greek word, historia. While many people think of history as disjointed facts and dates, the most important part of historical inquiry is making sense of the bits and pieces you've uncovered—giving them meaning. Searching for patterns and significance, viewing the situation from multiple perspectives, and crafting a narrative that can be studied and understood are a vital part of the process.

I started this site to showcase some of the projects that I have worked on, but also as a way to start conversations. In this space I will be writing about projects I am working on (with permission of course!), my thoughts on trends in the historical research and museum fields, and occasionally interesting information I come across. Thank you for visiting!
